Olympic Torch popcorn
Just a quick one before I dash off to work to help bring you Olympic coverage on the telly box…these are very quick, so you’ve still got time!

Perfect for an opening ceremony party
Edible Olympic Torches
1 pack of popcorn
1 box of icecream cones (preferably with the criss cross pattern)
1 bag of marshmallows
a knob of butter
Edible gold lustre (e.g the Mich Turner kind you get in supermarkets)
If desired, orange spray on food colouring
Paint the cones with gold lustre
Melt the marshmallows and butter
Pour in the popcorn and mix well.
Now (and this is messy, you may want an oiled spoon or something) scoop popcorn on top of the cones and leave to set (I put holes in a shoe box to stand them in)
Spray the tops with yellow / orange food colouring or spinkle with edible gold dust.
